This week’s Friday Fictioneers is inspired by Valentine’s day! Naturally.
From the moment I saw her, I knew we were destined for each other.
Unfortunately, she insisted on fighting it. She was flirty, reluctant to commit, always going out with her friends. Women and men. She wanted freedom. She wanted me to leave her alone, but it was impossible. A solution had to be found.
Two rooms. One each. Alone. I have her picture for company, and she has mine. It’s all I need. If only she felt the same.
Sometimes, in a relationship, you have to make sacrifices. She doesn’t understand that. She will though. She will.
If you wish to participate, head on over to Rochelle’s blog.
That’s a brave approach to the problem. Hope you can hold out. Let us know.

Good story and well written but a little scary. It sounds a bit like the thoughts of a stalker. I wonder how he got her picture. I’m guessing he probably sent her his.

I imagined he graduated to kidnapping. I envisage her in a basement trying to escape while he sits upstairs feeling really romantic. Creepy chap!

Dear Laura,
He does sound a little psycho. Glad you explained. Good one.
Have you written with us before? If not, welcome to Friday Fictioneers. If you have, welcome back. 😉
Shalom,

I think he is a stalker but has kidnapped her. Creepy guy – can’t let her decide on her own choice. Thanks, Nan

I have been in relationships where the man wanted to dominate me to this extent. Well not this extent but its easy for me to imagine. Scary!

It is really scary! Fortunately I’ve never been in that situation, but I can imagine how easy it is to find yourself in an unhealthy relationship.
